Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of one (1) 2025 Peterbilt 548 14' Dump Truck from Rush Truck Center (Buy-Board Cooperative Contract No. 723-23) for an amount not to exceed $218,319.92 pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code; Sections 271.101, 271.102, Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Programs and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #7200-7050-001-470000 (Water Utility Administration-Capital Outlay)]

Issue: The Water Utilities Department was approved to purchase one (1) dump truck for the fiscal year ending 2024.

Solution: Consideration to authorize the purchase with budgeted funds under Capital Outlay. The vendor has a cooperative contract meeting the competitive bidding requirements of the state.

Result: If approved, the order will be placed after court meeting. Build time to begin is approximately between November to December 2024 and final delivery ETA between December 2024 and January 2025.
