Subject:

Discussion and possible action to authorize the Webb County Auditor to release funds from Account #605-0200-8801 in the amount of $6,000 for use by the building maintenance department for the finalization of the expansion of the Bruni Community Center; and any other matters incident thereto.

Background:

The Bruni Community Center Kitchen expansion was done through a Design Build concept. However, the contract did not cover the cost of certain appurtenances necessary to complete the project, such as a commercial sink with installation, a mop sink and shelving for the storage area.

Previous Court Action:

On August 27, 2012, the Webb County Commissioners Court approved the expansion of the Bruni Community Center Kitchen to comply with Department of Health regulations, and allowed the expenditure of $108,120 from the Building Improvement Fund.
