Discussion and possible action to approve a Five (5) year commercial property lease agreement, with one additional (5) year renewal option term, subject to annual budgetary appropriations by and between G.G. Salinas and/or assigns, as Lessor, and Webb County, Texas, as Lessee, for the use of a 3,400 sq. ft. building, located on the premises commonly known as 615 Gale St., Laredo, Webb County, Texas 78041, at a monthly rental rate of $1.00 per sq. ft. and/or $3,400.00 per month, subject to an annual (C.P.I.) consumer price index rental rate adjustments on the anniversary date of this lease, with an option to purchase said property at the end of the primary and/or renewal term(s) of this lease. This lease shall commence May 1, 2014. The leased property will be used as the new main offices of the Webb County Head Start Program. The County Judge is hereby authorized to execute said lease on behalf of Webb County. [Requested by Aliza Oliveros, Director, Webb County Head Start Program; Account #903-4200-6012]
