Discussion and possible action to enter into a rural transportation federal fund agreement (No. 512XXF7144) with the State of Texas, acting through the Texas Department of Transportation, wherein Webb County accepts a grant amount not to exceed TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINE DOLLARS ($259,209.00) for the El Aguila Rural Transportation Program and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents. [Requested by Juan Vargas, Community Action Agency/Economic Development Director]

Background:

El Aguila Rural Transportation will receive $259,209.00 Federal funds as part of fiscal year 2015/2016 budget for the continuation of public rural and demand response transportation to provide transportation to residents in rural Webb County.
