Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase of 296 Safariland item #7360-4502-481 Model number 7360 7TS ALS/SLS Mid Riding Holsters with engraving from Kirkpatrick Guns and Ammo, Inc. for the Webb County Sheriff's Office for a total of $43,156.80. [Requested by Sheriff Martin Cuellar Jr., Account #3015-1010-001-470000 (Capital Outlay)]

Issue: Recently purchased Sig Sauer 9mm guns require specialized holsters for use of Webb County Law Enforcement.

Solution: Authorize the purchase of 296 Safariland Holsters with engraving. Funding is budgeted under Contingency Fund.

Result: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to proceed with the purchase the specialized holsters for all Webb County law enforcement to utilize with the new guns purchased.

Background:

Court authorized the purchase of 296 guns for Webb County Law enforcement. The specialized holsters are required for the new guns.
