Subject:

Discussion and possible action to accept a donation from Chevron Products Company in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) as per Texas Local Government Code 81.032 (Acceptance of Donation) for use of Emergency response equipment of the Webb County Sheriff's Office; and any other matters incident thereto. The Webb County Sheriff's Office currently intends to use these unrestricted funds for the acquisition of needed materials and supplies.

Issue: The Webb County Sheriffs Office received a check in the amount $5,000 from Chevron Products Company.

Solution: This donation will provide supplemental but needed funding for the Webb County Sheriff's Office operations.

Result: The Webb County Sheriff's Office will be able to utilize these funds for operations in order to continue to serve the needs of the local community and its citizens.
