Discussion and possible action to approve the terms and conditions of a lease agreement with the City of Laredo for the use of designated areas of the building and premises located at 1300 Chicago St., Laredo, Texas, as a detox facility and to submit the draft lease agreement to the City for negotiation and any matters incident thereto.

Background:

The former juvenile detention center located at 1300 Chicago St has been designated by the Commissioners Court as a detox facility and the City of Laredo has indicated that it would like to lease the premises and operate a detox facility and program.
