Discussion and possible action to enter into a Car Dealer Subcontractor Contract, on behalf of the Webb County Tax Assessor with Powell Watson Motors Inc. Dba Mercedes Benz Of Laredo to authorize Powell Watson Motors Inc. Dba Mercedes Benz Of Laredo to act as an agent of the Tax Assessor-Collector in the issuance of motor vehicle registration license validation stickers and license plates, and in the application for vehicle titles and any matters incident thereto; authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. There will be no impact to the General Fund.

Issue: The state motor department requires that we have a contract with all subcontractor and all franchise motor vehicle dealers.

Solution: Commissioners court authorization to renew contracts.

Result: To be in compliance with the Texas department of Motor Vehicle requirements.
