Discussion and possible action to reclassify the Risk Management Director position, slot #317 grade 26, to a Risk Manager position grade 25 to oversee Risk Management's operations and functions and recruit to fill, subject to availability of payroll funds, review and confirmation of recommended title and grade, and any applicable Civil Service guidelines, effective April 8, 2024:

Issue: Effective October 30, 2023, the Risk Management Director retired from Webb County. Therefore, since November 13, 2023, the Human Resources Director has been overseeing the Risk Management Department and handling all duties related to the management of the same. Recommendation has been brought forward to reclassify the Risk Management Director position to a Risk Manager position.

Solution: Approval of the above stated item.

Result: Ability for the Risk Management Department to continue to enhance its operations and services for Webb County Employees.
