Discussion and possible action to award RFQ 2014-003 "Design Build Paving & Fencing Project" for the Sheriff's Administrative Building to AC/DC, Inc. and Architect Plus, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $175,000 and authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Capital Outlay Fund; Account #751-2001-8801]

Background:

The scope of work for the project includes the removal of existing asphalt pavement, reworking and adding base course material, the installation of 2 inches of new asphalt pavement, striping of the parking lot, removal of existing islands, and the removal and installation of a new six foot high rod iron security perimeter fence, two automated vehicular gates (entrance and exit) and two pedestrian gates for staff only. All with access control and electronic gates similar to jail operations. Prep work for 6 security cameras.
