Discussion and possible action to approve an assignment of Hunting and Grazing Lease as per Bid #2012-200 “Lease of Penjamo and El Llano Pastures”, containing approximately 8,829.57 acres of land granted to Webb County, Texas as School Lands by the State of Texas being Survey No’s. 1383 and 1384, in Webb County, Texas located approximately 36 and 38 miles Northeast of Laredo, Texas from the present Lessee, the Estate of Seymon Deutsch to Los Amigos, III, LLC., a Texas Limited Liability Company.

El Penjamo Pasture containing approximately 4,364.53 acres of land granted to Webb County, Texas as School Lands by the State of Texas being Survey No. 1383 in said County, and located approximately 36 miles Northeast of Laredo, Texas.

El Llano Pasture containing approximately 4,465.04 acres of land granted to Webb County, Texas as School Lands by the State of Texas, being Survey No. 1384 in said County, and located approximately 38 miles Northeast of Laredo, Texas.

Background:

The “Penjamo and El Llano Pastures, Hunting and Grazing Lease, located on Webb County School Lands was awarded as per Lease Contract _________, “Lease of Penjamo and El Llano Pastures by and between Webb County Commissioner’s Court as Lessor, and Seymon Deutsch, as Lessee, for a 3yr. primary term commencing on ________ 11^th, 2010, and ending on __________ 10, 2013, with a 2yr. renewal option, which was approved by Webb County on August 26, 2013. The Lessee, Seymon Deutsch, passed away in 2013, and his Estate is now the current Lessee.

Previous Court Action:

On August 26, 2013 The Webb County Commissioner’s Court approved a two year (2yr.) renewal and extension of the Hunting and Grazing Lease on the Las Lomas and Cuchillas Pastures, located on Webb County School Lands, to the current lessee, the Estate of Seymon Deutsch commencing from October 11, 2013 thru October 10, 2015
