Discussion and possible action to accept the recommendation from the Webb County Scoring Committee for the following Two (2) applicants to receive housing assistance under the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) program and authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit bids for the approved applicants:

1. 125 W Mendoza	Pueblo Nuevo	Approve
2. 129 W Ozuna	Pueblo Nuevo	Approve

Housing rehabilitation costs to be covered by grant, TCDP Contract #712095. This action will have no impact to the County General Fund.

Background:

Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $500,000 for the rehabilitation of seventeen (17) homes in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo for low-to-moderate income families.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court approved the recommendation from the Webb County Housing Rehabilitation Scoring Committee to receive housing assitance for Five (5) applicants on February 24, 2014, item #17.
