Discussion and possible action to enter into a rural transportation state fund agreement (No. 51522F7041) with the State of Texas, acting through the Texas Department of Transportation, wherein Webb County accepts a grant amount not to exceed FORTY-NINE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-FIVE CENTS ($49,370.85) for the El Aguila Rural Transportation Program and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents. [Requested by Juan Vargas, Community Action Agency/Economic Development Director]

Background:

El Aguila Rural Transportation will receive $49,370.85 State funds as part of fiscal year 2013/2014 rollover monies. Budget is for the continuation of public rural and demand response transportation to provide transportation to residents in Rural Webb County.
