Discussion and possible action for authorization to the Webb County Community Action Agency Rural Transit to accept Audio Dynamics as vendor for the installation of security cameras with Twelve (12) months of monitoring in the amount of Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy- Four and Eighty-Eight Cents ($9,774.88) for El Aguila Rural Transportation Program and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents. Issue: The issue is potential break-ins, vandalism and trespassing. It's a satellite office, isolated, the safety of employees and compound is priority.

Solution: The solution is to set up surveillance and an alarm system to curtail any intrusion, monitor on a daily basis the ins and outs of the building, warehouse and staging area.

Result: The result is surveillance on a daily basis, recording daily entires and making it a safe and protective setting overall for staff, drivers and public guests.

Background:

El Aguila Rural Transportation will obtain $9,774.88 within its curent TXDOT grant. Since early March of 2015 with the help of Purchasing Department, various vendors were called for a video security system alarm with monitoring capabilites for our yard and office located at 4801 Daughtery Ave. Vendores contacted:

Audio Dynamics---contact person----Mr. ruben Perez/ Mr. Fermin

All four had the opportunity to submit quote for job with ample time. However, only Novastar and Audio Dynamics submitted quotes. One out of the two quotes was incomplete pending a third party input and did not include the surveillance system and monitoring.
