Revision to Drug & Alcohol Policy

Subject:

Discussion and possible action to approve the revisions to the existing El Aguila Drug and Alcohol Policy, pursuant to the new federal DOT drug and alcohol test standards; and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: New federal Department of Transportation Drug & Alcohol addendum needed to be approved by Commissioners' court to comply with new federal DOT drug and alcohol test standards, and implemented to the existing El Aguila Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Solution: The drug & alcohol addendum was approved by Commissioners Court on April 24, 2018. The existing El Aguila Drug & Alcohol policy was revised and the addendum has been implemented within said policy.

Result: To comply with federal DOT test standards and have the current drug and alcohol policy up to date.
