Issue: Transfer requested will reflect projected cost for the law enforcement equipment for leased police units originally programmed for Constable Pct. 1, Commissioners Court transferred personnel, vehicles and equipment to Pct. 2 & Pct. 3 Constable Offices. This transfer included police units that had already exceeded the mileage ceiling and/or 10 year or older models for replacement through the leasing program as previously approved by Commissioners Court.

Solution: Authorize the projected budgets to be transferred to the corresponding Constable Offices as recommended by the Purchasing Agent.

Result: Funding will be in place when orders are ready for outfitting of leased police units assigned to the respective Constable’s Office.
