Discussion and possible action to approve the posting and filling of the following Slots as well as any remaining vacant slots created by promoting from within, subject to the availability of payroll funds and any applicable Civil Service guidelines, effective May 22, 2023:

Issue: Need to fill vacant Slot #2615 Medical Death Investigator which became vacant on May 12, 2023 and filled from within. Slot #3003 will become vacant and filled from within, thus, leaving Part-Time Autopsy Technician/Transporter slot vacant.

Solution: Request for approval to post and fill Slot #2615 Medical Death Investigator. Promote an employee to Slot #3003 Autopsy Technician and to fill the remaining vacant slots.

Result: By approving this will allow our department to promote from within and fill remaining vacant slots and will allow us to alleviate the overload for efficiency and productivity of the work within the Department.
