Discussion and possible action to ratify the authorization to temporarily transfer one (1) 2012 Chevy Suburban (VIN #1GNSC5E05CR292421) previously approved for auction to be temporarily transferred to the Webb County Constable Pct. 3 Office pending the delivery of new police package vehicles (PPV) ordered through the leasing program and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #1001-3160-001-462605 (Fuel and Lubricants); Account #1001-3160-001-443000-075 (Repairs & Maintenance Vehicles)].

Issue: Constable Pct. 3 Office has reported multiple mechanical issues with existing fleet and requested a temporary vehicle to assist with daily law enforcement operations. 
 
Solution: Approve the authorization of the temporary transfer until new PPV arrive and old police units are turned over to the Purchasing Agent for future public auction as per Court’s formal action.
 
Result: If ratification is authorized, fixed asset records will reflect the temporary assignment to Constable Pct. 3 Office.  Department currently has both fuel and maintenance accounts to cover related expenses for their fleet.
