Subject:
Discussion and possible action to approve a settlement for $900.00 with Mr. Ricardo Bonilla Martinez regarding loss of use of his vehicle. Incident occurred on February 20, 2024, between a county vehicle and Ricardo Bonilla Martinez; and any matters incident thereto. [Executive Session may be requested pursuant to Texas Government Code, Title 5, Subchapter D, Section 551.071 (1)(A)(Consultation with Attorney regarding pending settlement offer)]

Issue: A two-vehicle incident involving a Community Action Agency-Meals on Wheels (2021 Ford Transit Van) and a 2008 White Cadillac by Mr. Ricardo Bonilla Martinez, damage was sustained against claimant's vehicle. 

Solution: To approve settlement as recommended.

Result: Once the settlement is approved, Ricardo Bonilla Martinez , as Claimant, will release Webb County for all property claims regarding his 2008 White Cadillac.
Background:
Commissioners Court previously approved thru ratification repairs to damaged vehicle (2008 White Cadillac) for $2,730.94 on 04/08/2024.
