Discussion and possible action to authorize the Economic Development Department to revise and resubmit a Community Facilities Program Grant/Loan Application to the U.S. Department of Agriculture - Rural Development that will propose the construction of a Fire Station in North Webb County at Los Botines; and authorizing the County Judge to act as the County’s Executive Officer and Authorized Representative in all matters pertaining to the County’s participation in the Community Facilities Program.

Background:

Grant/Loan funds are being sought in order to construct a Fire Station at Los Botines as part of the County effort to establish Fire/EMS infrastructure in the rural areas.

A change in sight/scope will be made to the previous application.
