Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase and installation of a video monitoring surveillance security system from The Best Alarm, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $3,108.40 for the Larga Vista Community Center; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The Larga Vista Community Center has been vandalized numerous times over the last few months resulting in thousands of dollars of repairs to the facility.

Solution: An advanced security monitoring system for the center is being recommended to provide security surveillance and video recording of the center during and after hours of operation.

Result: The installation of this necessary equipment will further secure the center and will deter any future vandalism or potential instances of theft.

Background:

The Larga Vista Community Center has been vandalized numerous times over the last few months resulting in thousands of dollars of repairs to the facility.
