Financial Impact:
This is an existing position within the Precinct 1 Commissioner's office. The previous employee resigned effective immediately on Monday, June 1, 2015. Although a payout of leave time needs to happen, the previous employee's salary was substantially above the minimum pay grade so a payout would still leave enough monies to fill this position immediately upon Commissioners Court approval. Furthermore, after Court approval, this position will need to be posted resulting in additional salary savings.
