Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of two (2) 2017 Caterpillar Motor Graders - 120M2 with a 5 year warranty from Holt Texas Ltd., DBA Holt CAT, for Road and Bridge operations, pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing program Texas Buy-Board # 424-13 in the amount of $557,137.42 [Requested by Jose Luis Neira, Road & Bridge Director; Account #2007-7150-001-470000 (Capital Outlay)]

Issue: Motor graders are needed for Road and Bridge operation. Previous leased units were returned to Holt Cat. End of lease.

Solution: Purchase 2 motor graders. Funding will be provided through a finance contract with Government Capital Corporation. Cost of graders will be paid in 5 annual payments.

Results: Obtain the needed equipment to run operation.
