Subject:
Discussion and possible action to approve repairs to a county unit in the amount of NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE DOLLARS AND THIRTY CENTS ($9,481.30) as a result of a motor vehicle collision which occurred on March 31, 2019 involving a Webb County Sheriff Department unit. [Account #1001-1180-001-452007-340(Claims Paid)]

Issue: While traveling West Bound on Hwy 59, driver lost control of unit #27-298, due to inclement weather, hydroplaned and collided with fence of a ranch property. No other vehicles were involved.

Solution:  Vehicle has been appraised by contracted vendor and will be repaired pending court approval. 

Result:  If approved, vehicle will be repaired with no further issue.
