Discussion and possible action to accept the rankings and award the Request for Qualifications 2019-007 “La Presa Community Water Dispenser Project” to the highest ranking firm, Porras Nance Engineering, for engineering services for the preparation of design plans, specifications, and project oversight of La Presa Community Water Dispenser Project and to further authorize the Civil Legal Department to further authorize the Civil/Legal Department to negotiate the terms and conditions of agreement and all necessary fees. Issue: Commissioners' Court authorized the formal solicitation for request for qualifications for engineering services.

Solution: Two (2) RFQs were submitted for this project.

Result: Recommendation to award to highest-ranking engineering firm as shown above. Should County and highest ranked firm not come to an agreement, the County would proceed with the next highest-ranking firm.

On 04-23-19, Commissioners' Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit Request for Qualifications for Engineering Services for the preparation of design plans, specifications, and project oversight of La Presa Community Water Dispenser Project in accordance with Government Code, Chapter 2254 (Professional Services Procurement Act).
