Discussion and possible action to accept the recommendation from the Webb County Scoring Committee for the following Four (4) applicants to receive housing assistance under the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) program and authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit bids for the approved applicants:

Housing rehabilitation costs to be covered by grant, TCDP Contract #712095. [Requested by Juan Vargas, Executive Director; Account #471-0111-7037-3]

Background:

Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $500,000 for the rehabilitation of seventeen (17) homes in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo for low-to-moderate income families.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court approved the recommendation from the Webb County Housing Rehabilitation Scoring Committee to receive housing assistance for two (2) applicants on May 27, 2014, item #45.
