Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit Requests for Proposals (RFP's) for the Paving and Fencing Project for the Sheriff's Administrative Office. [Capital Outlay Fund #751-2001-8801 - Series 2013]

Background:

The Sheriff's Office and Engineering Department are recommending to reject the previous award "RFQ 2014-003" and authorizing the solicitation of bids for this project. Discussions with County Engineer have included the task of developing the specifications in-house so interested bidders can submit their bids based on Counties required specs and selection of successful bidder will be based on lowest qualified bidder.
