Discussion and possible action to approve the connection of a street light on Hwy. 359 at the entrance to the Pueblo Nuevo Subdivision. Installation/activation and monthly utility fees to be paid from the general fund utilities account. [Account #001-0109]

Background:

Monthly fee for this light used to be paid by private citizen, but the resident cancelled the service. The entrance to Colonia Pueblo Nuevo is not visible at night without this light. This is creating a hazard for commuters in the highly trafficked Hwy. 359 area when people slow down to search for the entrance to the Colonia.
