Discussion and possible action to approve and ratify the 406th District Court Drug Court Program, specifically the 406th Veterans Treatment Program and La Familia Consulting and Counseling Services, contract August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2016.

Issue: The SAMHSA grant requires the evaluation of tools, analyzed data collected and recommend program changes whenever necessary.

Solution: The Program Evaluator will monitor the performance and compliance of the project with model fidelity to keep court personnel and all program staff aware of program standards and issues. Preparing and submitting monthly and annual performance reports will be required.

Result: The evaluator will ensure the program is in full compliance with grant requirements to meet goals and objectives ultimately for the success of the program.

This contract is from the grant application from the Department of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Grant Number 1H79TI025023-03

Previous Court Action:

The Webb County Commissioner's Court approved and authorized the establishment of a Drug Court Program, specifically, Veterans Treatment Program and designated the 406th Judicial District Court Drug Court Program as one of the courts authorized to implement the program.
