Discussion and possible action to submit an application for the 5311 Federal American Rescue Plan Grant 5311- 2021- WEBB CO- 00056 for Webb County Community Action Agency - El Aguila Rural Transportation from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in the amount of FIFTY THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN DOLLARS ($50,987.00). This grant does not require a County Match. All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department for review and the solicitation is compliant with Webb County (SPOC) Single Point of Contact procedures. No Impact to the General Fund. [Requested by James Flores, CAA Executive Director]

Issue: El Aguila Rural Transportation is a grant funded agency.

Solution: Application for Fed American Rescue Plan funds will benefit operations expenses and allow for continued transportation services to the rural areas of Webb County.

Result: Continuation of services throughout the rural areas of Webb County.
