Discussion and possible action to approve payment to cover the annual leave of $2,119.95 and compensatory time of $168.08 for employee in Slot #2836 and for employee in Slot #2949 a payment of $17.22 for his annual leave time earned, when the Grant came to an end on June 30, 2022. [Account #1001-5410-001-410000 (Veterans Service Office)]

Issue: The Texas Veterans Commission Grant ended on June 30, 2022. Both employees were in grant funded slots. Employee in slot #2836 had annual leave plus compensatory time and employee in slot #2949 only had annual leave when the grant ended. The grant agency does not allow cost after employment service as per Code of Federal Regulations CFR 200 §200.403.

Solution: Approve payment to cover cost of annual leave and compensatory time.

Result: Former employees will receive compensation for annual leave and compensatory time earned.
