Discussion and possible action to award bid 2014-03 Webb County Housing Rehabilitation Program in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo to the lowest and best qualified bidder, Bronze Builders, for the Texas Community Development Program (TCDP) #712095 Housing Rehabilitation Program - Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) and authorize the County Judge to sign all relevant documentation. This will not impact the general fund.

Background:

Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $500,000 for the rehabilitation of seventeen (17) homes in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo for low-to-moderate income families.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court approved to accept the recommendation from the Webb County Scoring Committee for the above two applicants to receive housing assitance under the Texas Depatment of Agriculture (TDA) program and authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit bids. (Approved on March 27, 2014, item #45)
