Discussion and possible action to approve release of 10% retainage for the completion of Webb County Housing Rehabilitation Program in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo under the Texas Community Development Program (TCDP) #712095 - Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) and authorize the County Judge to sign all relevant documentation. This will not impact the general fund.

Background:

Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $500,000 for the rehabilitation of seventeen (17) homes in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo for low-to-moderate income families.
Retainage check will be released after 30 days from the final inspection.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court awarded bid 2014-1 rehab 02 to the lowest & best qualified bidder on March 10, item # 39 & awarded bid 2014-2 Rehab #6, #7, #8, #9, & #10 Webb County Rehabilitaiton Program in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo to the lowest and best qualified bidder for the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG). (Approved on March 24, 2014, Addendum item #1)
