Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to award a contract to Airgas Specialty Products in the amount of $30,659.00 for the repair of leaks to the Ammonia Storage tank. [Sec. 262.024. DISCRETIONARY EXEMPTIONS. (a) A contract for the purchase of any of the following item is exempt from the requirement established by Section 262.023 if the commissioners court by order grants the exemption: (11) vehicle and equipment repairs]. Background:

There are no other quotes. Airgas Specialty is the sole source vendor in the State of Texas Certified to deliver and maintain the maintenance of Anhydrous Ammonia Gas we use at the Rio Bravo Water Treatment Plant.
