Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to award a contract to Environmental EI2 in the amount of $18,248.03 for the repair and/or replacement of existing parts to the Chlorination and Ammonia Equipment. [Sec. 262.024. DISCRETIONARY EXEMPTIONS. (a) A contract for the purchase of any of the following items is exempt from the requirement established by Section 262.023 if the commissioner court by order grants the exemption: (11) vehicle and equipment repairs]. [Bond Series 2013 Fund 745]

Background:

Scope of work includes system inspection, individual equipment inspection, installation of manufacturer's recommended spare parts testing and calibration. It also includes replacement of missing or damaged components.
