Discussion and possible action to approve the posting and filling of the following Slot, subject to the availability of payroll funds and any applicable Civil Service guidelines, effective August 8, 2016.

2701	Deputy Constable	$18.46 - $19.40 16/A-E

Issue: Employee that occupied slot #2701 transferred to another department as of July 22, 2016. Constable Pct. 2 is requesting approval to post and fill vacant slot, so we can continue to provide expedient service to Webb County residents.

Solution: Obtain approval from Commissioners Court to fill slot.

Result: Constable Pct. 2 will be able to fill slot #2701, resulting in continued service of the Departments Constitutional Duties.
