Discussion and possible action to authorize the Community Action Agency Self-Help Center staff to assist Communities Unlimited, Inc., a multi-state 501 (c) (3) nonprofit Community Development Financial institution (CDFI), with a Home Improvement Loan Program by providing outreach and application intake for qualifying Webb County Hwy 359 colonia residents. [Requested by Ricardo Martinez, Community Action Agency Director]

Issue: Communities Unlimited, Inc. offers Home Improvement Loans that may be beneficial to qualifying Webb County Hwy 359 colonia residents.

Solution: Provide assistance by informing residents about the available loans and possibliy assisting with the application process.

Result: Webb County Hwy 359 colonia residents will have additional resources available to them to improve their housing conditions.
