Discussion and possible action to approve additional funding in the amount of $25,000 to Account #001-0700-6005 Postage. [Account #001-0700-5001 (Payroll Savings)]

Issue: The funds originally budgeted for the Tax Assessor-Collector for postage was not sufficient for the mailing of the 2016 Tax Statements.

Solution: Since there are no funds available in the Tax Assessor-Collector's operational budget, the only option available would be to request additional funding.

Result: Sufficient funds would be available for the mailing of the 2016 Tax Statements to the taxpayers of Webb County.
