Discussion and possible action to accept the 2016 - 2017 Refunding grant for the Early Head Start Child Care Partnership program (Year 2 of a 3 year funding cycle) in the amount of $749,531 (Federal), with an in-kind match of $187,383 to serve 72 Early Head Start eligible children and their families from September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2017 in Webb County.

Background:

This is an annual Refunding grant. The Non Federal Share does not require a cash match. All positions are 100% grant funded. No impact to the General Fund.

Previous Court Action:

This application was approved by the Court on May 23, 2016.
