Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to transfer the vehicle listed below from the Webb County Tax Assessor Office to the Webb County Information Technology Department in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code (LGC): Section 262.011 (j).

Unit 36-02 - 2005 Honda Odyssey - VIN #5FNRL38245B070759

Issue: The Webb County Information Technology (I.T.) Dept. presently has 1 Cargo Van and 1 Pick-up Truck and are limited as to their response time to various departments (in particular to those departments outside the downtown area).

Solution: By adding this unit it would allow for better response time to the needs of Webb County Departments. This vehicle is mechanically sound and will have minimum impact to the general fund for expenses such as fuel and preventative maintenance.

Result: Secure authorization to transfer unit as per Section 262.011 (j).
