Presentation by Kofile Technologies for the Preservation of Historical Civil and Criminal Case Files and Docket books for Webb County District Clerk's office; with discussion and possible action and any other matters incident thereto. [Requested by Budget Officers]

Background:

The District Clerk's office stores many of the historical files and records dating back to the early 1800s, therefore, the preservation of the case files with other records are of the utmost importance to ensure their protection. Many of our case files are deteriorating due to age and storage conditions in our vaults and storage. The responsibility for preserving records falls within the job duties of the District Clerk to ensure their protection and preservation.
