Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise for formal bids for the purchase and installation of an 1,740 feet of iron rail fencing at the Los Botines Fire Station located San Juan Road and US Highway 83 in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, Sub-Chapter C. (Competitive Bidding in General).
Issue:
Area around Los Botines Fire Station is in need of fencing.
Solution:
Secure Commissioners’ Court authorization for the solicitation of bids so the purchase and installation of iron rail fencing can be completed.

A secured fenced area will provide protection to the fire station compound.
