Recognition and presentation of certificates to the Laredo Lady Sonics Basketball Team for their participation at the West Coast Nationals Competition held in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 11, 2019. The team obtained 1st Place at the Excel State Championship in San Antonio, TX and placed 6th at the National competition where they played against 23 teams. The team consists of 11 6th and 7th grade girls, under the direction of Coach Victor Lara, Mitchell Lara and Edgar Gonzalez. [Requested by Jesse Gonzalez, Commissioner Pct. 1]
