Discussion and possible action to enter into an engineering contract with Raba Kistner Consultants, Inc. for the evaluation and assessment of the Justice Center Roof (14 calendar days) at a cost of Twenty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Fifteen Dollars and for remediation/repair design and construction administration services (60 calendar days) at a cost based on a sliding scale of the construction cost of between 7.5% to 8.9% and any matters incident thereto; authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. Issue: The Justice Center roof leaks during moderate or heavy rain causing damage to the ceilings and equipment in the building.

Solution: Evaluate the roof and design repairs and remediation of the roof.

Result: The County may then bid out the design and repair or remediate the roof.

Background:

Raba Kistner was selected by the Commissioners Court to evaluate and assess the roof and design repair/remediation of the roof.
