Subject:

Discussion and possible action to ratify the development and submission of the 2023-2024 Apache Tree Grant Program for the donation of trees for the Fred M. & Anita Bruni Community Center in Precinct 4 and Bruni Community Center in Precinct 2; and authorizing the County Judge to act as the County's Executive Officer and Authorized Representatives in all matters pertaining to the County's participation in the Apache Tree Program. This grant application does not require cash match.

Issue: Community Centers are limited to greenery.

Solution: To accept grant award of Tree donation from Apache Tree Grant Program.

Result: To provide trees to the Community Centers for Precinct 2, and Precinct 4.

Background:

Webb County applied for the 2021-2022 Apache Tree Program and received trees for the Santa Teresita Community Center in Precinct 3 and for the Fred M. & Anita Bruni Community Center in Precinct 4
