Discussion and possible action to approve Compensatory Time for Twenty-One (21) Webb County Sheriff Bargaining members in accordance with Article XIII (Special Benefits); Section C., of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for hours exceeding 480 in the amount of $66,279.00 to include base pay and fringe benefits contingent upon approval and verification by County Auditor and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Accounts from respective Divisions: #001-2001 and #001-2060]

Background:

CT Payout is required in accordance with the Webb County Deputy Sheriff's Association under Article 13 (Special Benefits). All hours over 480 are required to be paid out. A Time Clock Plus report (Attached to Backup-Agenda quick) list the 22 Bargaining members to include their current CT balances, total hours over 480, rate of pay, total base payout and detail on fringe benefits (F/B). Total base salary expense is $53,023.18 and total with F/B is $66,278.97.

The WCSO recommends payout.

Previous Court Action:

Previous CT payouts have been approved by Court in accordance with Collective Bargaining Terms and conditions.
