Discussion and possible action to ratify the Texas Department of Agriculture,Child and Adult Care Food Program grant application for the 2014-2015 program year.

Background:

This is an annual application that employs 17 kitchen staff and feeds 1,280 Head Start and Early Head Start Children. The Food Program grant reimburses the cost of breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Estimated reimbursement is $900,000.

Previous Court Action:

This grant application is ratified annually in September or October.
