Discussion and possible action to approve the Volunteers Serving the Need-Helping Veteran's and Bring Everyone Special Together (B.E.S.T.) Time Bank as Representative Organizations for Category "C" for the Webb County Community Action Agency Advisory Board; and any other matters incident thereto.

Background:

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) State mandates filling of vacancies when applicable terms end as per the Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 5 Rule 5.215. The Webb County Advisory Board met on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 and recommended approval of the appointments of the Volunteers Serving the Need-Helping Veteran's and B.E.S. T. Time Bank Organizations. The nominating Committee met on Monday, September 08, 2014 and recommended the Volunteers Serving the Need-Helping Veteran's and B.E.S.T. Time Bank Organizations.

Previous Court Action:

In September 26, 2011 the Commissioners Court approve the Laredo Veteran's Coalition and the Laredo Main Street as Representative Organizations for Category "C" for the Webb County Community Action Agency Advisory Board.
