Discussion and possible action to ratify the acceptance of the 2015 - 2016 Refunding grant (Year 2 of a 5 year funding cycle) for the Head Start and Early Head Start program in the amount of $9,796,195 (Federal), with an in-kind match of $2,449,049 to serve 1,218 Head Start and 72 Early Head Stat eligible children and their families from September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016 in Webb County.

Background:

This application has been approved by the Office of Head Start and was awarded to Webb County on September 1, 2015.

Previous Court Action:

The Court approved the Refunding application on May 26, 2015.
