Discussion and possible action to authorize extension of Criminal Justice Division (CJD) Grant No. 2056407, 341st Sobriety Treatment Program to utilize the existing funds.

Issue: Utilize the existing funds of Grant No: 2056407.

Solution: Authorization of extension will help continue operations of programs.

Result: Sobriety Treatment Program and Drug Court Program will continue operations and services without interruptions.

Background:

This grant was awarded by Texas Office of the Governor Criminal Justice Division FY 2014-2015. An extension to Grant No: 2056407 was submitted to utilize and exhaust any remainder balance on 07/20/2015 and certified and finalized by the OOG office on 07/21/2015.
